Malone on Minnesota's ''x'' factor and the man who will guard Nikola Jokic

Denver coach Mike Malone revealed his expectations before the duel with Minnesota and who he expects to guard Nikola Jokic.

The two teams meet in the first round of the playoffs, and the first match is scheduled for Monday at 04:30 CET.

Malone revealed who the Timberwolves’ biggest threat is.

“Their ‘x’ factor is Kyle Anderson. “His IQ, his unselfishness, his ability to make others better, and his ability to defend all positions… I think he’s going to be a very important part of this series,” Anderson said.

As a result, the media representative asked whether he expected Anderson to guard Jokic.

“We will know more after the first game. They surprised everyone when they put Alexander-Walker to babysit their cousin. I think he did a great job. If they stick with that, to put him on Jamal (Murray), Kyle comes off the bench. So either Rudy (Gober) or Cat (Towns) guard Jokic against the start. But at some point during the game, Kyle will guard Nikola,” Malone concluded.
