Denver coach Mike Malone decided to forever carry with him the memory of the NBA title he won with the Nuggets in the season behind us.
It was the first title in the history of the club from Colorado, so Malone decided to never forget it and decided to get a tattoo.
He chose Maxie the Miner, a cult character in Denver, who instead of a pickaxe holds the Larry O’Brien trophy, which is intended for the NBA champion.
Mike was recently among the most cheerful at the parade in Denver, so the question remains whether he still got the tattoo under the impression of it and whether he will regret it one day.
