Piotr Stelmach, Kennedi Williams and Alessio Trapani with Best Basketball Performance in December
An impressive 56 Points by Piotr Stelmach in Valletta’s 139-118 win over Tigers, a tally that included 7 Treys propelled the Valletta Basketball Club import Piotr Stelmach to the BOV Basketball Player of the Month award for December 2024. The Polish point guard, whose accolades include the Polish Championship and Cup averaged 28.80 points per game in Valletta’s 5 outings during the month. Stelmach, who averaged 38.56 minutes per game during December also boasts 10.75 rebounds per game this season.

Athleta’s Kennedi Williams won the BOV award for the Women’s league. The 5’8 shooting guard from Douglasville, Georgia was the highest scorer in the women’s league in December with 71 points from 3 games (23.67ppg) with an impressive 82% from the free-throw line. Williams has registered the most steals per game this season, averaging 5.22 with 4.44 assists per game.

Alessio Trapani won the BOV award for the BOV Amateur League. The 5’8 Malta junior national shooting guard was also the top scorer in his competition, with 58 points from 3 outings, including 11 shots from the distance, while averaging 33.51 minutes on the court per game.
