Denver Nuggets coach Michael Malone did not hide his satisfaction after his team’s victory over the Toronto Raptors.
The team from Colorado defeated the Canadians with the result of 110: 109, with a strong contribution from Nikola Jokic.
The Serbian ace scored 28 points with 15 rebounds and six assists, but that was not all.
In an extremely dramatic finish, Nikola Jokic managed to block the opponent’s player and thus bring another victory to the Denver Nuggets in the NBA league.
– They didn’t jump so much that he won, but because he took the chain from my hands! Even before I announced who was the best, he approached me and said, “I’ll take this.” He put it around his neck and the whole locker room went crazy with joy. He beat me. Obviously, this was another blockade of Jokic, which sells out all the tickets. The blockade on Anoubou was an incredible move – said Mike Malone.
All in all, the Denver Nuggets coach could be pleased.
– We fought, competed, found the way to victory. This was really a big win. They have won more at home than any team lately – Mike Malone underlined.
