To the surprise of many, James Harden transferred from the Brooklyn Nets to the Philadelphia Seventies, and here is what the former club says about him!
The main basketball players of this team, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant understand why their former teammate decided to take such a step.
The “net” playmaker, however, does not hide that this was a surprise for him.
– I thought we were in a good mood, but everyone has their own view of things. If Harden wanted this, then I respect his decision and that’s it. I wish him nothing but love and peace. We have a great friendship, but things just didn’t work out. “I wish the communication was better, but none of us are angry,” Irving said.
Durant, on the other hand, understands the reason for his departure.
– When you look at things from his perspective – Irving is not playing, I am injured and he never won a ring at the age of 32. I guess he wants to put himself in a position, that is a team fighting for the championship – added the popular Kay Dee.
However, Nets coach Steve Nash remained somewhat more reserved when it comes to Harden himself and focused on the match with Philadelphia.
– It will be strange to play against him so soon. But it will also be an exciting match with a lot of energy. I expect a competitive match – said Nash.
