IT DIDN'T TAKE A LONG TIME: CSKA and Kenneth Faried broke up!

American basketball player Kenneth Faried and CSKA Moscow ended their cooperation after a very short period of time since his arrival.

The popular Manimal played for the Muscovites in 11 games and was on the floor for an average of nine minutes.

It seems that the CSKA signed Faried to be a short-term replacement for the injured players in high positions, namely Tornike Shengelia and Johannes Voigtmann.

Both of them recently returned to the floor and the American became overnumbered, which resulted in the termination of cooperation. Otherwise, he did not prove to be a great reinforcement and did not live up to high expectations.

Faried played seven matches in the Euroleague for CSKA, where he had 2.3 points and 2.4 rebounds per game with a 31 percent shot from the game. According to a statement issued by the Muscovites, he immediately accepted to be a replacement for the injured players until they recover.

For the American, this was the first European team after his NBA career. In the 11 games he played for CSKA in all competitions, he spent an average of nine minutes on the floor.
