The Euroleague announced that the match between Olympiacos and CSKA Moscow for the 18th round was postponed after the Greek team recorded eight COVID-19 cases.
This is the third game that has been postponed for the same reasons.
“The match for the 18th round of the regular season of the Euroleague between Olympiacos from Piraeus and CSKA from Moscow, which was originally scheduled for Wednesday, December 29, has been postponed.
“Olympiacos requested a postponement after several members of the team tested positive for COVID-19, which leaves him without at least eight players capable of playing, ” the statement said.
It is still unknown when the match will be moved, and the Euroleague will coordinate with both teams in order for the match to take place.
