The owner of the Dallas Mavericks, Mark Cuban, has once again shown how much he appreciates the qualities of the Slovenian basketball player with a new statement about the club’s best player, Luka Dončić.
When asked by a journalist where he would “place” Dončić when talking about the best players in the NBA, Cuban said:
– Top 1 or top 2. He is so good, and this summer he will add some things to his repertoire, he will come back even better – said the Mavs owner.
Apart from his incredible basketball skills, Luka is also known as a completely “normal” character, so Cuban took the opportunity to praise his behavior off the court.
– He’s great. He’s just a laid-back 23-year-old guy – he has a girlfriend, likes to hang out, play games, and watch basketball.
Let’s remind you, Dallas reached the finals of the Western Conference playoffs last season, and Dončić was the most responsible for that success, averaging 28.4 points, 9.1 rebounds and 8.7 assists.
There is no doubt that he will enter the new season in Texas with great ambitions, but before that Luka has obligations with the Slovenian national team.
He will join his compatriots on August 10 in order to welcome EuroBasket, which starts on September 1, in the best shape.
