European Aquatics, in alignment with its development strategy and in collaboration with the European Aquatics Academy, is proud to announce an upcoming water polo development camp.
This unique event will take place from June 24 to 30, 2025 at Hotel Aqualif in Kranevo, Bulgaria. The initiative offers an unparalleled opportunity for young players, coaches, and officials to enhance their skills under the guidance of top experts.
To ensure smooth planning and organisation, interested federations and clubs are encouraged to submit their entry form by March 25, 2025
The camp is designed to support the growth of water polo in developing nations, particularly those who are at the beginning or intermediate stages of their water polo development. Through an intensive six-day programme, young players will gain invaluable playing experience, while coaches and officials will receive education and training to help strengthen the sport in their home countries.
Young referees and table officials who do not yet hold an international licence will have the opportunity to learn from world-class referees, ensuring a solid foundation in officiating. Additionally, a special workshop for water polo federations will be held, focusing on national strategies to enhance the development of the sport across Europe.
The state-of-the-art Hotel Aqualif in Kranevo provides optimal conditions for the camp, with excellent accommodation, training facilities, and medical care available for all participants.
The camp will accommodate approximately 100 children (U12 and U14 age groups), 40 young coaches, and 20-40 referees and table officials. Each participant will receive world-class instruction and training, culminating in a two-day tournament where players will showcase their newly acquired skills in competitive matches.

For safety and comfort, coaches from the same clubs as the children are encouraged to attend, particularly for those who do not speak English. Parents and companions will also have the option to stay in nearby hotels if necessary.
A key feature of the camp is its alignment with the European Aquatics Education Programme, offering coaches, referees, and jury table officials the opportunity to earn a European Aquatics beginner-level certificate upon passing the final test, providing them with official recognition of their development.
The total cost per participant (players, coaches, officials) is €900, which includes accommodation, airport transfers, a participation gift, medical care, and training by world-renowned water polo educators. Efforts have been made to keep the cost as low as possible while maintaining the highest standards of quality, ensuring a productive and enjoyable experience for all involved.
This is a unique opportunity to elevate the quality of water polo within your federation or club. With limited spots available, we encourage all interested parties to register promptly. Join us in Kranevo, Bulgaria, for an unforgettable experience that will help shape the future of European water polo
