Thomas Reis leads Schalke

Thomas Reis has been appointed as the new coach of the Football Club Schalke, it was announced today.

He will replace Frank Kramer on the “Miner’s” bench, who was fired after four months of cooperation due to poor results.

In the previous three years, Reis managed Bochum, where he was fired in September.

He led that club for 112 games and recorded 50 wins, 41 losses and 21 draws.

“The challenge is great, but I am firmly convinced that we have the necessary quality to achieve our big goal together, which is survival in the elite,” said Thomas.
