Mosta Futsal secured the Fuel 10K Under-16 Knock-Out title with a commanding 10–2 victory over neighbours Naxxar Lions in a one-sided final, wrapping up a stellar season in style.
From the first whistle, Mosta took full control of the game, dictating the tempo and overwhelming their opponents with relentless attacking play. The final marked the conclusion of the Under-16 competition, expertly organized by the MFA Futsal and Beach Soccer Department.
Standout performances came from Francois Micallef, Luca Chetcuti, Keirin Pace, and Dayl Cachia, each netting a brace to lead the scoring charts for the champions. Jean Cilia and Zion Micallef Bickle also got on the scoresheet to round off a comprehensive team performance.
Naxxar’s consolation goals came from Jake Pace, who managed a brace of his own, but it was not enough to trouble a rampant Mosta side.
With this emphatic win, Mosta completed a remarkable domestic double, having already claimed the Fuel 10K Under-16 League Section A title earlier in the season.
