Jurgen Klopp: Injuries dictate our season

The German strategist, Jurgen Klopp, before the very important match in the group stage of the Champions League, against Ajax at the Amsterdam Arena, spoke about the numerous injuries that caused his Liverpool to have a very bad season.

The club from Enfield Road has been struggling with results since the beginning of the season, and the main reason is numerous injuries to the first team members.

Jurgen Klopp points out that he will not be able to count on as many as 6 players for tonight’s clash with Ajax.

“Everything starts with injuries, and the main problem, in addition, is that players who are not injured play much more than they should, and so we risk losing them too. Of course, situations like this cannot be resolved overnight,’ said Klopp.

‘I repeat we are not complaining or whining, I am just stating the facts. The only positive thing is the return of Curtis Jones and I am very much looking forward to that before tonight’s game. Of course, it’s the Champions League, Ajax is a big club, so it will be great to play at the Amsterdam Arena. We have enough players and we will try to get the most out of them,’ revealed Jurgen Klopp.

The German will not be able to count on very important players such as Luis Diaz, Naby Keita, Joel Matip, Thiago Alcantara and Diogo Jota.

In group A, Napoli is the first with 12 points, Liverpool has 9 and Ajax has 3. Rangers is the last without points.
