Alexander Zverev, a tennis player from Germany, had an ankle injury this summer, from which he almost recovered.
The German did not have a great start to the 2023 season, as he was defeated by the 81st player in the world in the first match.
“As far as feelings go, I’m fine. However, my tennis is far from the level I would like to be at. I also think it’s normal because I haven’t played for seven months. I’m used to different things, I get tired much faster than before. However, this is due to not playing. I’m probably not worried because physically I’m not at the level I’d like to be. I get tired faster and I’m not as fast as I used to be,” says Zverev and adds:
Zverev admits that the pain just about let him go.
“Honestly, I haven’t been in pain for the last two or three weeks. From Saudi Arabia. Before that I was in pain and couldn’t do the different things I wanted to do. I think I will be at the right level in a few weeks,” Zverev concluded.
