Patrick Mouratoglou comments again on who will be the GOAT and as he says the race is still open.
-” The GOAT race is still going on, it’s more exciting than ever before.” – started Mouratoglou and added:
-” Let’s start with the biggest tournaments. Djokovic now has 21 trophies, one more than Roger’s 20 and one less than Rafa’s 22. Novak is the best in Melbourne with nine titles, Rafa dominates at Roland Garros with 14, and Federer still leads at Wimbledon (eight) and the US Open (five ).”
And then Patrick talked about what will happen in the future.
-” Nadal is playing exceptionally well, perhaps the best in his life, he recently beat Novak in the Roland Garros quarterfinals, but he is still struggling with injuries. Novak is the youngest of the three, he is still in great physical condition, so he has a chance to play at the highest level for a few more years. However, he might not be able to compete in the next two slams, which would mean that his next chance would be in Rafa’s house, i.e. at Roland Garros. Roger is turning 41 soon, it will be incredible to see him on the court again, but it is unlikely that he will win another Grand Slam trophy.”
And at the end, he predicted the trophies won.
-” Novak has the most masters – 38, Rafa 36, and Roger 28. Rafa is the only one with Olympic gold in singles, and Roger has the most titles at the final tournament (six), Novak has five, and Rafa none. Finally, Roger has a total of 103 ATP titles, Rafa 92, and Novak 88,” concluded Patrik.
