RIO DE JANEIRO: Norrie got revenge on Alcaraz, and lifted the cup

Carlos Alcaraz failed to win another title to equalize with Novak Djokovic on the ATP list.

Cameron Norrie was better than the Spaniard in the final of the tournament in Rio de Janeiro, with a score of 5:7, 6:4, and 7:5.
With this victory, the Briton took revenge on Alcaraz for the defeat the previous week in the Buenos Aires final.

“Down a set and a break and 0:30 on my serve, it looked like I was done, but I was able to flip the switch and turn things around, so it was a good day. I had to fight with many demons, but I managed to play well in important moments, that’s why I won”, said Norrie.

After this tournament, the Spaniard is not certain that he will be able to play in the tournament in Acapulco.
