The traditional ESPY award for the year 2022 in the competition between male and female tennis players went to Rafael Nadal from Spain and Emma Raducanu from Britain.
This year’s winner of the Australian Open and Roland Garros “Bull from Majorca” was only in competition with the Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz, Dylan Alcott and Felix Auger Aliassime.
While Emma won the award in competition with Ashleigh Barty, Iga Świątek and Leylah Fernandez.
The ESPY awards represent excellence in sports in a calendar year, and have been awarded since 1993.
Rafael Nadal received this award for the third time this year, while Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer were not even on the competition map this year, although Nole has this title five times, and Federer nine times.
