Rafael Nadal has spoken out after his collapse at the Australian Open and delivered some bad news.
The Spanish tennis player initially dropped out of the tournament in Melbourne, after he suffered an unexpected defeat against Mackenzie MacDonald, and to make matters worse for the “Bull from Mallorca” – he injured his left groin.
Nadal‘s fans hoped that things were not of a more serious nature, but it turned out that the diagnosis was not good at all.
After undergoing further examinations in Barcelona, it turned out that the predictions were correct
- Today I was at the tennis clinic in Barcelona where I did some analyses. The results from Melbourne were confirmed and the recovery times remained the same. Treatment methods have been established. In three weeks we will do new tests to see the progress – Nadal wrote on his Twitter account.
