Murray: I'm not here to play the 2nd round match, but to play the Wimbledon final

The Scottish tennis player who threatened to disrupt the plans of the “big three” of world tennis, Andy Murray, said that he would like to play in the Wimbledon final.

He has won Grand Slam tournaments three times in his career, but in 2018 he had to undergo hip surgery, after which it was thought that this was the end of his career.

The 35-year-old Scot emphasized that he would like to play in the finals this year of the tournament he has won twice in his career.

“I am not here to play only the match of the second round against Oscar Ote, but to play the Wimbledon final against Djokovic, Nadal, or Matteo Berrettini. With some of those guys, That’s what I want, “Murray said.”

Wimbledon starts on Monday, June 27 and will last until July 10.

Twice in the Wimbledon finals, he beat tennis players from this area. Once by Djokovic, the second time by Raonic.
