MEDVEDEV AFTER THE FIRST VICTORY: Literally, little things ruled in my favor!

After the victory over Andrey Rublev at the start of the final Masters of the season in Turin, Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev admitted that little things decided the winner.

Medvedev opened the match well against his godfather and fellow countryman and won the first set 6:4, after which Rublev did not use a series of break points.

While Danil finished the second set routinely.

“The first set broke everything. Literally, little things ruled in my favor. Such duels can always go in two directions. Today I managed to serve better when it was important and to take advantage of break points. In the second set, Andrej fell and I’m glad that I managed to win,” said the Russian.

In the next match Daniil is waiting for the German Alexandar Zverev.
