KYRGIOS ABOUT DJOKOVIĆ: "If he could have entered the country, he would now have 25-26 Grand Slams"

Nick Kyrgios and Novak Djokovic didn’t have a good relationship at the beginning, but in the last year and more, it seems that they have become not only real sports rivals, but also friends.

The Australian tennis player has always been able to attract attention with his statements, and in preparation for Wimbledon, he commented on who can stop the world’s number one racket in his quest for the eighth Grand Slam on grass.

“No one can stop him. If I don’t stop him, nobody can,” said Kyrgios.

Djokovic defeated him in last year’s final, and Nik gave an interesting answer to the question of how many more Grand Slams the Serbian ace will win.

I’m hoping for 30. That way I’ll look better knowing that I lost to him in the final at Wimbledon,” said the Australian.

Djokovic won the record-breaking 23rd biggest tennis trophy at Roland Garros.

“Novak achieved incredible success, I know how much he works and how much it all means to him. I know how many Grand Slams he missed because he couldn’t get into the country. Now he would have 25-26 titles”, said Kyrgios, referring to the Serbian tennis player’s bans on entering Australia and the USA and added:

“He is very hungry for success. People think that he will stop, but these successes will only awaken in him even greater motivation. I hope he will have 28-30 Grand Slams“.
