Goran Ivanisevic spoke publicly and denied that Novak Djokovic had anything to do with the “anti-vax leader” organization.
Goran spent many moments with Novak, but the toughest one was definitely Australia when the Serbian tennis player was deported because he was not honored with the medical exemption that they had previously given him.
“I respect Novak, he made a decision that he will not change. When they said that he was that leader, that he had a bad influence on people, that was wrong,” Ivanisevic began and continued:
“He doesn’t want to be vaccinated, he doesn’t want to get it into his body, but he never told anyone not to get vaccinated. I respect and support his decision”.
It is still not certain that Djokovic will be able to play in his first Grand Slam next year.
“I hope that these decisions will be changed. People infected in Australia, at Roland Garros and Wimbledon are not a danger to anyone. There are many contradictory things. I was vaccinated, so I didn’t have any problems, but… They terrorized us for two and a half years. If you are infected, it is like having scabies. They kick you and your entire team out. We were on the pillar of shame…” – concluded Goran Ivanisevic.
