Lorenzo Musetti expressed his admiration for Roger Federer, whom he still considers the best player on grass, even better than Djokovic
The Italian is currently 16th on the ATP list and is competing in the tournament in Queens, where after winning the first round he touched the legendary Swiss.
“I see Roger as the greatest ever on grass. Despite that, Djokovic has done an amazing job over the last few years and I think he’s the favorite now, especially at Wimbledon. But my heart goes out to Roger. His game reminds me of mine and I try to imitate him and look at him as a teacher,” said Musetti and added:
“Federer has always been my favorite player. He was my role model. It still is”.
Federer has eight titles at Wimbledon, while the Serbian ace has won the third Grand Slam of the year seven times so far.
