One of the best players in the history of Barcelona, now the sports director of the club, Juan Carlos Navarro, spoke after winning the title in the ACB league and announced his parting with Nikola Mirotic.
Barcelona made a real feat and defeated the current European champion Real Madrid 3:0 in the final of the Spanish championship.
Mirotic is sure to leave Catalonia this summer.
“The decision about Mirotic was made a long time ago, we are surprised that the media found out this information before the final” Navarro said and added:
“He refused to reduce his salary. We have discussed this with his agent many times. I am surprised by the things he said in the interview, there were several harsh statements”.
