A big disappointment for all Roger Federer fans because most likely his return to the court will be delayed.
As “Tages-Anzeiger” reports, Federer will most likely skip the Laver Cup, which will be played from September 23.
Roger was supposed to play in the European team, with the big four consisting of Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, Andy Murray and himself.
The former number one in the world had unexpected obstacles in his recovery before the start of the Laver Cup, so as things currently stand, he will not return to the field until the 250 series tournament in Basel a month later.
