Currently the seventh tennis player in the world, Novak Djokovic, is in Visoko, in Bosnia and Herzegovina, where he officially opened the tennis courts.
Novak needed to thank everyone.
- Thank you very much for coming, for supporting this event. This is a big day for Visoko, for Bosnia and Herzegovina. However, this happens once, the fields are opened for the first time. I am glad to be here to witness this magnificent event – began Djokovic:
- I hope that we will bring you a lot of joy, smiles, and positive energy. There are a lot of children, young people, our hearts are always full when we see that. It is an inspiration for them to be able to dream big one day.
Djokovic talked about how these courts were built.
- This is the first time we have stepped onto the field, which was actually completed yesterday, thank you Semir, a big round of applause for him, because he contributes to everything and the whole team of the “Ravne” park foundation and to all the people who entered this project with a good heart . We passed here in 114 days, in March we were walking, that’s why I thought why they don’t have one or two tennis courts here, when I personally come, but also all of us tennis players can train in Visoko. Only Semir can do that, I’m glad that it came true so quickly – said Djokovic.
- We wanted to warm up a little on the court, we will not play doubles or doubles right away. Enjoy, feel free to interrupt us, shout, this is a completely different format. I’m going to invite some young tennis players here from the cadet national teams of Serbia, Croatia, Italy, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina… There will be a lot of good fellowship and tennis here – concluded Novak Djokovic.
