The Serbian player will be free in the first round, while in the second round he will play against the better player from the duel, Alejandro Davidovich Fokina – Marcos Giron.
In the eventual third round, Novak could play against the 14th seed, Spanish player Robert Bautista Aguta.
The Serbian tennis player is in the middle of the draw together with the winner of the Masters in Miami, Carlos Alcaras, who could be his rival in the quarterfinals.
In the semifinals, Djokovic should have had a fourth seed, Norwegian Casper Ruud, as his rival.
