The grand final of Wimbledon awaits us soon, in which as expected Novak Djokovic and unexpectedly Nick Kyrgios will meet.
Even before the start of the tournament, many wanted to see Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic in the final, but the Spaniard disrupted those “plans”. He was forced to withdraw from the tournament due to injury, which meant that the controversial Australian went straight into the final.
Djokovic’s path was somewhat longer and more difficult, but we will not look back on the past. What is important is that the match will start soon, and you will be able to follow it live on the Maltasport portal.
MATCH REFEREE
The Frenchman, Renaud Lichtenstein, will lead this final match as the referee from the chair. Since the beginning of 2019, Lichtenstein has been a permanent member of the ATP team and is among the referees who have a gold badge.
Lichtenstein has officiated at 13 different tournaments, and in the last three seasons, he has officiated matches at the final Masters tournament and the Billie Jean King Cup. He was a judge at the 2008 and 2012 Olympic Games.
