Despite the arrival of Eriksen and Malacia, Manchester United could not have gone more aggressively on the market in building a new team under coach Erik ten Hag.
They are also looking for a defender at Old Trafford, and they would reportedly like to bring in Fikayo Tomori from the Serie A champions Milan.
Tomori has established himself at Pioli and is one of the pillars of the Rossoneri defense.
The 24-year-old Engels left the Premier League last season, where he was a Chelsea player.
The problems for United, however, are that allegedly Tomori does not want to join the “Red Devils”, but would rather play in the Champions League with Milan.
