The best Serbian tennis player blew away American Taylor Fritz after three sets, with a score of 6:1, 6:4, 6:4.
Novak started very dominantly in the first set, immediately broke, allowed his rival only one game and took a 1:0 lead like a fury.
In the second set, a slightly better game by Firc, but not good enough to make a significant result, which the masterful Novak took advantage of, and made a break for a 2:0 advantage.
The American did his best in the last set, playing game after game until Novak broke again, which was enough to advance to this big semi-final.
Djoković is two more steps away from the 25th Grand Slam.
