Danish tennis player Holger Rune qualified for the finals of the Masters tournament in Paris, after defeating Canadian Felix Auger Aliassime 6:4, 6:2.
Rune reached his first Masters final after 88 minutes of play, ending the Canadian’s streak of 16 consecutive victories.
This 19-year-old Danish player made the decisive break in the first set in the third game, while at the start of the second he took away his rival’s serve twice, after which he certainly brought the match to an end.
With this victory, Rune took revenge on the Canadian tennis player for the loss in last week’s final of the tournament in Basel.
Currently, the 18th tennis player in the world will fight for the title in Paris with the winner of the second semi-final in which Novak Djokovic and Stefanos Tsitsipas will meet.
