SHOCK IN PARIS: De Minaur ''sent'' Medvedev home in the first round!

Daniil Medvedev was eliminated in his first match at the Masters Series tournament in Paris. The Russian defeated Australian Alex De Minaur in three sets – 6:4, 2:6, and 7:5.

The match between De Minor and Medvedev, the 25th and third-ranked tennis player in the world, lasted two hours and 46 minutes.

The victory against Medvedev is the Australian’s first victory, after 19 attempts, over a player who is among the TOP 5 on the ATP list.

De Minor will play against the American Francis Tiafoe, who earlier today was better than the British Daniel Evans, to qualify for the quarterfinals of the last Masters of the season.

It will be the third duel between De Minor and Tiafoe, and the Australian won the previous two.
