After regaining the throne on the ATP list, Carlos Alcaraz also mentioned Novak Djokovic.
“It’s a great feeling, for me it’s a dream come true again. Being in front of great players like Novak is an incredible feeling for me. Novak is one of the best in the world, that’s obvious. I always say that you have to beat the best if you want to be the best. I really wanted to play against Novak again. We miss him on Tour and I hope he will return soon”, said Alcaraz.
This is the eighth trophy in his career so far.
“I don’t think my game has improved much since last year, but what I’ve improved on is dealing with pressure and playing relaxed. That is the most important thing. That’s why I showed a great level myself,” said Carlos
“I have no doubts about my shots and I feel comfortable on the court. That’s why I play well – when I miss, it doesn’t matter. I do not care. I try to approach every shot one hundred percent”. – Alcaraz added
