Carlos Alcaraz pointed out what he would most like to happen to him, which is a doubles match with Rafael Nadal at the Olympic Games in Paris next year.
The most popular tennis player in the world sees Novak Djokovic and Jannik Sinner as his biggest rivals in the future, as well as Nadal.
“Undoubtedly Rafa will be there, I hope I can play with him again. He texted me before the Wimbledon final, wished me luck. I appreciate it. He is my role model from childhood, he is still my role model,” says 20-year-old Alcaraz and continues:
“It would be a dream come true to play doubles in Paris. Not only if we win a medal in singles or doubles, but just to live that experience of playing doubles with my role model – it would be a memory that I would keep in a special memory”.
What is already known is that Nadal already has gold medals in singles and doubles with Marko Lopez.
