Spain’s handball players won the bronze medal at the World Championship tonight, as they beat Sweden 39:36 (18:22) in Stockholm.
Adrian Figueras led Spanish team to victory in the match for third place with nine goals, while Alex Dujshebaev scored two goals less.
Hampus Vane was the most effective in the domestic selection with nine goals, and Niclas Ekberg added seven.
With the victory, Spain repeated the result from the previous World Cup in Egypt in 2021.
The World Cup in Poland and Sweden ends tonight with the final match between Denmark and France (21.00).
