On September 28th and 29th, Anton Mifsud, a Maltese Drifting Driver, finished in second place when competing at Rostov-on-Don, a port city in Russia that hosted a unique drifting tournament, the Teboil RDS Superfinal.
What made this event truly special was that participants in the country’s two leading championships — the Russian Drift Series Grand Prix (RDS GP) and the RDS Europe interregional series — competed on equal terms on the same track for the first-ever Russian Drift Cup, the highest award in the country.
18-year-old Mifsud competed in the NXT category, and his next race is on October 5th and 6th.
