Malta women’s U-18 beat Romania to set up 13th place play-off with Czechia

The Malta U18 Women’s Water Polo team secured an impressive 12-9 victory over Romania at the European Aquatics U18 Women Water Polo Championships, currently being held in Malta.

It was a strong team effort, with Chloe Amato and Kaylen Cutajar both scoring three goals each. Ella Miceli and Eyla Schembri added two goals apiece, while Elisa Amato and Nevise Agius also found the net with one goal each.

This win sets up a play-off clash with Czechia on Friday, where Malta will battle for 13th place in the tournament.
