Team Schweppes won the all-female Challenge Cup tournament organized by the Malta Polo Club as they achieved two victories from the four chukkas that they played.
The team formed by Alicia Velema, Petra Vella, Nicola Spiteri, Paige Millard and Kim Besacon started with a 3-0 victory against Team Stella although they found the going tough although still able to beat Team Veuve Cliquot 4-3.
Meanwhile in the other two chukkas, Veuve Cliquot scored a dramatic goal to beat Team Stella 2-1.
Veuve Cliquot was formed by Sera Manduca, Emma Aquilina, Francesca Camilleri and Nikki Fenech Conti while Team Stella had Annie Wightman, Christine Massaloux, Serena Galea and Bex Gera.
This event had a nice attendance and was held with the support of EquestriMalta.
