HITT Academy WH Middle East clinched the First Division table tennis title after beating HITT Academy Mosta Dome B & B 5-1.
The team led by Mario Genovese managed to win this title one matchday before the end of the league after having won 13 out of 14 games and suffering only one loss. The team was made up of Gabriel Grixti, Isaac Grixti and Conrad Puli who were consistent throughout the season. In addition, this is the sixth consecutive title that they have won.
Meanwhile in other matches played from the first division, MITTC Butterfly and MITTC Butterfly Dignics achieved great victories against Top Spin TT Academy Valletta Pay Andro (6-0) and HITT Academy Tibhar (5-1).
In the Relegation Pool of the First Division, Mosta Gunners beat Alpha Gewo 4-2 while HITT Academy Home Trends suffered more than expected to beat Alpha Calleja Ltd 4-3.
Meanwhile more verdicts came from the second division championship where Alpha Alberta Group were promoted to the first division after their dominant 6-0 win against Top Spin TT Academy Valletta Pay Hexer. A similar victory was achieved by HITT Academy Valletta who beat MITTC Butterfly Superchak while PBC Table Tennis Bluegrip were better than Topspin Academy Pay Fraser so much so that they won 4-2.
