The Malta Polo Club in collaboration with EquestriMalta will be organizing the Alexandria Cup with the Maltese national team who will be challenging the Republic of Ireland next Saturday at the Malta Equidrome with the throw-in set at 11.30am.
The Maltese national team will be made up of Martin Arrigo, Jeremy Besancon, Matthew Borg and Karl Galea with the Republic of Ireland which will include David Stone, Mark Stone, Eamon Laverty and Paul Ronan.
The Umpires for these Chukkas will be Mark Darmanin and Chris Wightman assisted by Philip Wismayer who will be the third official.
This will also be a special event for Malta Polo Club because an electronic scoreboard will be inaugurated which will replace the manual one that has been used for the last few years. All this thanks to EquestriMalta who is working hard to attract more foreign teams in Malta.
