Viktoria Lucenkova will once again contribute at the highest level of European table tennis, this time in the role of Competition Manager for the 2025–26 ETTU Europe Trophy, which will be held in Malta between 16 and 18 January. The competition is organised under the auspices of the European Table Tennis Union (ETTU) and hosted by the Maltese club MITTC.

Lucenkova has played a pivotal role in the development of Maltese table tennis in recent years, making a lasting impact both on and off the table. Her influence was first felt through her representation of Malta at the Games of the Small States of Europe (GSSE), where she contributed significantly to an impressive medal haul, including her involvement in several podium finishes at the most recent edition.

At club level, Lucenkova continues to be a driving force within MITTC, where she serves as Technical Director and works relentlessly on the development of young local talent. Her expertise and leadership have been central to the progress and success of players such as Daniel Bajada, Matthew Zammit, Neil Incorvaja and Arina Ivanova, among others.
Beyond her technical and developmental responsibilities, Lucenkova is also deeply involved in the organisational side of elite European competition through her work with the ETTU. In her role as Competition Manager, she is a key figure in the delivery of the Europe Trophy, ensuring that this prestigious professional event meets the highest international standards.
Her appointment once again underlines Malta’s growing reputation as a trusted host for major international sporting events, with the Europe Trophy further cementing the island’s place on the European table tennis map.
