The Island Karting Club and Karting Club Malta, in conjunction with the Malta Motorsport Federation, are organizing the first round of the 2024 National Karting Championship at the La Reve racetrack in Ħal Far. Saturday, the 24th, is dedicated to the classes reserved for the youngest drivers. Races in the following categories start at 10:00 with a training session of 10 minutes; these classes are Rotax Micro, Mini Gr3, and X30 Iame Junior 125cc. 11:09, they race for pole position; at 12:28 and 15:08, final and finals, respectively.
The senior drivers will debut on Sunday, the 25th, at 09:45 in the following classes: Iame X30 Masters, Vortex Senior/Master, Rotax, and Iame X30. Pole position starts at 10:45, pre-final at noon and final at 14:25.
The National Karting Championship is being organized in cooperation between Karting Club Malta and Island Karting Club and managed by the Malta Motorsport Federation. The event will be free to the public, an event for the whole family that children of any age will surely enjoy.
