Albert Scerri and Norbert Attard qualified for the main round of the Premier League of Darts after being consistent in the second qualifying tournament held yesterday at the St Caetan Club in Ħamrun.
Scerri eliminated Johan Xerri 3-1, Alfred Zaffarese 3-1, Tony Borg 3-2 and Kevin Spiteri 3-2 to advance to this competition phase.
On the other hand, Attard saw off Charles Cauchi 3-0, Alfred Muscat 3-0, Brian Abela 3-1 and Mario Farrugia 3-0.
Albert Scerri and Norbert Attard join Kirsten Aquilina and Enrico Scerri who have qualified from the first tournament.
Three more qualifying tournaments will be held in the coming weeks to determine the 10 finalists.
