During the last weekend at the Cottonera Sports Complex, there was only one match played in volleyball’s Super League. Falcons, led by Branko Vlahovic, won 3-1 against Birkirkara, thus increasing their hopes of continuing to challenge Swieqi to win the season. On the other hand, Birkirkara remains anchored almost at the bottom of the table.
In the First Division matches played on Saturday, Mgarr continued their positive run after winning 3-0 against Birkirkara Reds. This win puts them at the top of the table. In the second match, Birkirkara Yellows won 3-0 against Paola Yes2Health Fitness Club.
