Dzintra Grech has achieved a remarkable victory in the HYROX Pro competition for the 35-39 age group, finishing first with an impressive time of 1:09:04. Competing against 25 contestants in her age group.

She secured the top spot with a two-minute lead over her closest rival, Rebecca Houard of France. Grech also placed an impressive sixth overall among 108 women competing in the HYROX Pro division.
HYROX combines running and functional workout stations, challenging participants to complete eight rounds of 1km runs followed by one functional workout station each. This demanding format tests both endurance and strength, making Grech’s achievement even more notable.
Grech’s victory not only cements her status as one of the top competitors in her division but also secures her qualification for the 2025 HYROX World Championships in Chicago, USA, set to take place at Navy Pier from June 12-15. The HYROX World Championships represent the pinnacle of the global fitness racing season, bringing together elite athletes from around the world to compete for the prestigious title of Age Group World Champion.
The qualification process for the World Championships is straightforward. Athletes earn their spot by achieving top placements in their respective age group and division at any HYROX global race during the season. If an already-qualified athlete achieves another qualifying result, the spot is reassigned to the next ranking athlete, ensuring fairness and maximum participation.
