It was an exciting evening of cue sports action on Thursday as players across all divisions produced some impressive performances in the latest round of league fixtures in the local Snooker leagues.
CE Installations Premier League
Joseph Cassar delivered a commanding display to defeat Brian Caruana 4–0, maintaining his fine form in the top division. Cassar’s accuracy and composure at the table left Caruana with few opportunities to respond.
Second Division
In the Second Division, Raymond Micallef overcame a strong challenge from Chris Cauchi to secure a 3–1 victory. Micallef’s consistency proved decisive as he closed out the match with confidence.
Third Division
Anthony Zammit was in fine touch as he cruised past Craig Casha 3–0. Zammit showed solid control throughout, never allowing his opponent to gain momentum.
Masters
In the Masters category, Vince Spiteri registered a solid 3–1 win over Louis Thompson. Spiteri’s experience shone through as he managed the frames efficiently to seal the result.
