Maltese international umpire Alessandro Amore was part of the officiating team at the Euro Hockey Challenge 2, held in Šiauliai, Lithuania.
With a wealth of international experience, Amore began his participation in the tournament as a reserve official on the first day. This role allowed him to closely observe the atmosphere, assess the dynamics of the matches, and take note of key decisions being made by fellow officials.

On the second day, he was entrusted with officiating a match between Roslagens and Furuset, where he delivered a highly commendable performance.
His solid showing earned him a further appointment to officiate another match — this time between Šiauliai Ginstrektė-Akademija and KS Pomorzanin Torun.

This is not the first time Maltese umpires have been invited to officiate in the Euro Hockey Challenge, and such opportunities continue to enhance their skills and reputation on the international stage.
