Qormi Daikin’s Luke Bajada has been named Malta Hockey Player of the Year for the 2024/25 season. The 20-year-old stood out throughout the season, helping his team secure every local hockey trophy, including the national championship.
Bajada scored several crucial goals, driving Qormi Daikin to victory in key matches and playing a pivotal role in the team’s successful campaign. His performances were also instrumental in Qormi Daikin’s triumph in the EuroHockey Club Challenge Division 3, held in Oslo, Norway.
Having been a member of Qormi Daikin since his youth, Bajada has developed into a central figure for both his club and the Maltese national hockey team. His dedication and skill have made him a key player on and off the pitch.
The award was presented to Bajada by David Agius, President of the Malta Hockey Association, recognising his outstanding contributions to Maltese hockey during the season.
