Qormi Daikin sealed a perfect season by winning the Hockey Knock-Out competition, defeating GREE Żurrieq Wolves Hotsticks with a convincing 4–1 scoreline.
With this win, the team led by coach Andre Ghio claimed every major honour available in Maltese hockey during the 2024/25 season.
Qormi took the lead by the end of the first quarter, but midway through the second quarter , Żurrieq managed to equalize. However, Qormi pulled ahead again in the final two quarters to secure the much-desired victory.
Luke Bajada, as usual, stood out for Qormi by scoring a brace, while Steve Tanti and Juan Sarcia added further goals for their side.
Luca Runza scored the temporary equalizer for Żurrieq.
At the end of the match, the President of the Hockey Association of Malta, David Agius, presented the trophy to Qormi Daikin captain, Steve Tanti.
