Floriana Young Stars end hockey league with fine win

Floriana Young Stars ended their hockey league campaign with a comfortable 5-2 win over White Hart. The Greens finished third in the table with seven points. At the same time, they lost the title to Qormi Daikin, who won the title this season.

Justin Farrugia scored a brace with Clive Williams, Mark Camilleri and Karl Chircop adding more goals for their team.

Tamas Kok scored a brace for White Hart.

Finally there were two matches from the first round of the under-12 championship as Floriana Young Stars defeated GREE Żurrieq Wolves Hotsticks 10-2 while Marsaskala achieved an 8-4 victory against Qormi Daikin.
