Local futsal champions Luxol St Andrew’s last weekend were in Sicily to take part in a training camp in preparation for the league and UEFA Futsal Champions League commitments.
The St Andrew’s side, managed by Gabriel Dobre played two friendly matches against the Italian futsal champions META Catania.
In the first game Luxol lost 7-4 with Veve, Maicon, Lucas and Jefferson scoring their goals. In the second game between these two sides, the Sicilian team won with a score of 5-1 with the only goal being scored by Maicon.
Luxol begin their engagements in the Enemed Futsal League against Ta’ Xbiex on the 5th of October.
